Before you dive into the world of Surbhi: A Claimed Soul , I wanted to share a little piece of my heart regarding how this story came to be.

This story wasn't born today. I actually wrote the core of this narrative back in 2023. At that time, I had read a beautiful story (Insatiable Desires) that deeply moved me. 🥺It sparked a flame of inspiration, and I felt a sudden, intense urge to explore these themes of power, tradition, and complex dynamics through my own lens.😊

However, for a long time, I lacked the courage to post it. I was constantly worried that people might think I was simply copying someone else’s work. But I want to assure you—while that story was my "spark," the fire, the characters, and the journey you are about to read are entirely my own.

Currently, my studies are keeping me incredibly busy, and I find myself with very little time to start anything new or even write the current stories. While going through my old drafts recently, I found Surbhi and Mahesh again. I realized that instead of letting this story gather dust, I should finally share it with all of you.

This story is a labor of love from a younger version of me, and I am so excited to finally let it breathe.
